The team

Richard Hester

Company founder, consultant and trainer

Richard is a former school head who has a masters' degree in Educational Leadership and Management and is currently also studying part-time for an EdD. He has worked with schools throughout Europe and Asia and has presented at education conferences in UK, Amsterdam, Colombo, Prague and Rome. He is passionate about combining effective leadership, excellence in performance and a positive school culture.

David Rowsell

Consultant, coach and trainer

David has 25 years of school leadership experience (18 as head): in two schools in UK, followed by being the Principal of two international schools - in Prague and Washington DC. He is passionate about the transformational power of continual learning for young people, teachers and leaders alike. He works with a wide range of schools to promote coaching, continual professional learning and, most importantly, high performance pedagogy.

Serena Alexander

Consultant and trainer

Serena is a former headteacher of one of the UK's top Prep Schools and is an educational consultant whose clients include the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) and IAPS. She has written a series of mathematics books for Galore Park, which go beyond the requirements of the national curriculum. She delivers our training on Higher Order Thinking Skills as well as Challenging the More Able in Mathematics.

Lin Whyte

Consultant, coach and trainer

Lin is a lifelong educator who was formerly a principal of three schools in Cambridge, UK and has worked as a lead facilitator, assessor and coach for the National College of Teaching and Learning and latterly, University College London (UCL) since 1997. Her role as a lead facilitator for Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) and ECIS has taken Lin to many parts of the world delivering enrichment and leadership programmes.

Neil Richards

Consultant and trainer

Neil is one of the most experienced international school headteachers in the world. Now a consultant, former headships were at British International School Phuket, Machabeng High School, Lesotho; Yokohama International School, Japan; UWC Atlantic College, Wales, UK. He was awarded an MBE for services to British education in Japan in 2006.

Chandra Umesh Raja

Consultant and trainer

Umesh leads our 'Unconscious Bias' training for school leaders as well as teachers. Umesh is an experienced headteacher and inspector and is passionate about school improvement. He believes that coaching can help individuals analyse and reflect on issues and discover new opportunities for action. He is also gives lectures at the Institute of Education in London, e.g. 'The importance of kindness'.

Peter Nicholson

Consultant specialising in training for governors

Peter was a headteacher for 30 years and has a huge amount of experience serving on governing bodies of many different types of schools, as well as having considerable inspection experience.
