Who is this course for:

This training can be adapted to leaders at all levels.

Course details:

Employees who are valued and respected perform better, collaborate more and take less time off work. Plus research often finds that a significant number (approx 50%) of people leave a boss, rather than a job, and this combined with recruiting costs ever-rising (in terms of money and time) means that it is essential to have leaders who have great people skills; but many leaders at all levels have missed out on valuable training.

Areas of particular focus will include building trust, listening, appreciating and valuing others' opinions, motivating others, developing teams, running effective meetings, communication, giving feedback and having tough (but necessary) conversations.

Leadership skills will be developed through the use of real-life scenarios and a variety of hands-on practical activities to ensure that attendees reflect on their own practice and context in order to plan take away action points.

By the end of the course:

Delegates will have developed a range of people leadership skills and confidence to utilise in their own leadership context.
